A BREEAM Excellent speculative office building

MEA acted as Project Manager for Aviva Investors’ 70,000sqft high quality speculative office development in Cardiff Bay. The project was completed on budget and achieved BREEAM Excellent prior to Practical Completion. The building boasts a 22m high atrium from which an intricate artwork by Claire Morgan is displayed. This piece is known as ‘Pressure Makes Diamonds’ and comprises over 3,000 stainless steel wires up to 17m long from which lumps of coke are suspended.
